External Hard drive

Hi guys!
i m looking to buy an external hd.. which one should i go for? Lacie, iomega, or westerndigital.. any pointers?

I suggest either Western Digital or Segate(Maxtor); Most external HDD reviews say these are good and I own a WD My Book 500GB and its awesome.
