The Exhibition Aftermath
Ladies & Gentleman, this blog has arisen out of a need that became apparent during the famous LLA exhibitions. Many CD's came upto us and asked for a book or some type of reference where they could see all of our works together. I mean handing out business cards is fine, but lets be real, these people see our work - like it - but then of course, forget! Here! I have set this up partly cause im super-vela and partly cause ive had enough of sorting my stock images - i mean i started at the bottom of the 300 GB pile and its one ardous task. Ive also put many hours into researching DAM (Data Asset Management) which is a big concern of photographers the world over. I figured we should start a conversation about this. The next post will do that.
I implore you to use this blog to post all kinds of stuff - here are some ideas:
1. A wish-list of the craziest gear - we photographers are perpetually buying new gizmos or lenses - lets compare notes.
2. Post any questions you might have about software, hardware, lenses, cleaning techniques - all of us have many issues with our workflow - some small, some rather large and annoying
3. Post links to your website's and a small Bio about yourself. In the future, just make a post everytime youve updated your site - after all your putting in all the effort/money into a site so that people will look at it - well heres a great way to find people who are likely to take a look.
4. Ad Agencies, agents, press etc. can use this blog to find us all in one place - just send me an email and ill add you on as an author to the blog -
Please do not use this as a message board to talk to each other
Keep it real
and blog on!
